Heart Rate Snack Box
This small box/like case has quite a simple purpose, to guide indecisive individuals to an appropriate choice of food in corrilation to the users heart rate. The user scans their heart rate, selects a meal choice, and recieves a suggestion. A fun class project utilizing a 3D printed case, buttons, heart rate sensor, digital dcreen, and LED light.
The project was completed as a partnership with another classmate, where we split the workload. I primarily handled the laser engraving on the acrylic, Cricut cut the vinyl, and coding. My partner handled the 3D modled case and wiring.

Sketches and Code Requirments/Map
My partner and I collaborated to come up with our base sketches on how our little box would operate. We made logistical decisions like what kind of latch we would use, how we wanted to attach hinges for the lid (3D design or seperate piece), and how we were going to fit the “face-plate” over all if the wires and other pieces.
I wrote out the code map for all of the requirements of our project. I noted the inputs (pulse sensor, button) and the outputs (LED, Digital Screen) and planned accordingly so I could begin writing the code!
The Final Project
At the time I had forgotten to take any progress pictures, so we skip straight to the final product! The video was taken to submit the assignment in class, without any though that it might be included in my portfolio.
